Hi! I'm a middle grade writer and a school counselor.

I was born in Texas (Howdy, Partner!) and raised in the Dallas area and in Florida (Mickey and Minnie were neighbors). Now I live in Georgia where it's mostly sunny and loaded with interesting characters.

I live with my husband and two dogs. One is a rescue from the Bahamas. Long story. Her name is Molly. And Buddy is a labradoodle. My daughter works as a paramedic/firefighter and my son plays baseball in college.
